In 2005 my wife and I quit our jobs in San Diego, sold most of our possessions, and on July 5th walked across the border into Mexico to start a year-long trip around the world. During the trip met with several think tanks, wrote a few articles on economic issues, and used the website to record our travels with photographs and a daily log.

Now we’re back and living/working in Northern California and over the next year I’ll be writing a book on economics related to our trip. This website will continue to be updated with news and opinions from around the globe.
